Low-passed vorticity results

In addition to the low-passed vorticity snapshots that I posted yesterday I thought might be useful to look at the vorticity compared with the low-passed vorticity. Click HERE for a movie that shows a side-by-side comparison throughout the simulation. Recall, I used a running mean with a 250-point window to low-pass in the time domain. Also the move includes only every 3rd snapshot (dt = 15sec) to make the movie file more managable. While the magnitude of the vorticity and movement are reduced the overall patterns look the same. My next step is to go back to the ideal wave groups (normally incident and oblique cases) and see if there was some low frequency motion that we just couldn't see because it was overpowered by transient motions.
